Study in Pink 4

Study in Pink 4
Originally uploaded by Sylvia...Sometimes.
A strange sleepless night. With Kitty dying, then Sue, then my bike being ripped off, then the burglary...I feel empty. I sit down to do a collage and nothing comes. I know this will change...but for tonight, I struggle. Tomorrow I will remember that my losses are so little when compared to so many. My heart goes out to them.

Hey, be of good cheer, all things must past, keep smiling, chin up, every cloud has a silver lining, there are plenty more starfish on the shore, people on daft horses shouldn't cook scones, there's many a chip and it never rains and I've got a brand new bag of roller skates, gunga din...

Thinking of you...

HI SYL
WE hate to hear you sounding so low...I wish I was as clever as old Roger with his inventive cliches..
Every cloud is a collection of water droplets that falls on your head but also waters your plants....!! That Roger does have a way with words..he makes it loook so easy.
Big hugs from us..Tell us more about your trip.XXXXX

Hazel...thanks bunches. Sorry to be so glum...guess everyone just has those times. Anyway...Montreal...has the flavour of New Orleans (the Latin Quarter that is). I think you would really enjoy the botanical gardens which go on forever and are themed to different countries. Archie would like the Insectarium...ah, those hissing Madagascar roaches! Really cool beehive colony in the making (with outlet to real outdoors for them to come & go), stick bugs that look like...you guessed it. Everyone would like the Biodome with it's different environments/animals/flora. One thing I didn't see but will next time...there is a whole underground city of shops-just everything! Musee des beaux-arts had a Provence show (good) and special show of photos by forgot the name!!! Food...you want it, you've got it there! We actually liked the 2nd place, a B&B, better...Auberg de la Fontaine. More residential and overlooking Parc Fontaine. Hope you get to visit...we want to go back this winter!
Take care...and let me know your news too.
Hugs to all!

Sounds like a great place. We are all fine except for Hazels gammy leg. It seems to be improving though- not so numb as it was. Archie is doing well- getting his little animations seen in all kinds of places. his guitar playing has come on in leaps and bounds which is quite tricky especially if you get your trouser turn-ups caught in the sound hole!
His conker collection is amazing!
I'll let Hazel tell you all the rest. Hope all is more cheery now.
