Places to Go...

Places to Go...
Originally uploaded by Sylvia...Sometimes.
It's been brought to my attention that I've been a bit like a lumpy slug pulling on its thermals. Well, there's a lot to be crammed in there, let me tell ya...there's the assembly line of untold clippings piled on the kitchen counter...Why did I not notice the soup I was making was beginning to send the Morris code? I knew all those lost snippings would show up! Ah, walks to the river...frozen now...watching the gulls gallop across to the tune of "Blazing Saddles", or was it Mortenza's Waltz? Out to an Irish pub...friends doing a gig...my body now in morgaritis from doing the jig...Mail from Art Nahpro. Ha, I've won his quiz...beautiful pen and ink of a horse. Don't think he has a clue that I've owned and ridden horses since I was knee-high so was serendipity. Well, not in the last 7 years since here...sweet memories still.
Trying to find something to cook in the state of the art pot I got for Xmas...big enough to bath in, it is! I've got it...I'll open a spa. Relax in your favorite herb...shall it be thyme (there's always time) or are you feeling sage tonight? (that's 50 pence a phrophesy).
Mean time...hey, we've got places to go! Come on! You haven't seen anything yet!
Wherever you are...it's a new day!
So, that's the way it is...

You're back and I'm first on the comments! Hurrah!!!!!

Sounds like your hale and hearty.

There's nothing like a nice big cooking pot. So - how did you christan it?

That word doesn't look right.

and I'm second again! Hurray! and dont spare the horse brasses! Flo has just knocked over the baracades to the wires under the computer table and made me jump- naughty bunny!
Nice to see you blogging again. Tell that Jonathan to get back to his too- I'm fed up with going there to find old stuff!
Today I shall mostly be going to the shops to buy some milk. Not horses milk but good old fashioned coo's milk, squeezed from a freshly moo'd cow. I think we might have enough cooking pots but some blank DVD's might be useful. Still working my way through the piles of VHS tapes. Watched a fascinating doc about Frank Lloyd Wright yesterday and afterwards it was Stanley Kubrik. What great films he made. make sme feel like watching them all again. Not enough hours in the day though. Got some collages to do.Have fun!

Roger!!! Way too long and of course it's my fault. Too many projects trying not to be neglectful around here. Absolutely stretching each minute to a spandex moment. But yes, well and looking forward to reading some of your new poems. Take care!

Michael, poor Flo...gal needs a little excitement now & then ,-)
now about those DVD's...are they all the same (the blank ones) or do they differ in US from UK? A certain curious person asks?
Too very nice viewing choices...FLW. It's said the homes he designed were made to "fit in" with nature. Well, one's I've seen certainly didn't blend the way one would expect...more like they just wonderfully complemented each other. Made of new list of movies to rent the other night (Golden Globe awards night) so hopefully some interesting viewing soon..."The Constant Gradener", new version "Pride and Prejudice" to name a few.
Hello to each of you...hopefully some snails to you soon. xxx

Not seen the "Constant Gradener"? Is that about someone who grades eggs and stamps the little lion on the good ones?
Havent I sent you an Archie animation DVD yet? These are the same kind. I will happily send you a sample of various nonsense if you are able to view them.
Brrrr! Its another cold a frosty morn here. hazels just gone off to the train station where she is shivering on the platform I expect. Archie is a kip but must wake him now and get his breakfast ready. Toodle pip!

Michael...will have to tell you about Constant Gardener after I see it...can't remember review but don't recall assembly lines of eggs. Tons of snow again yesterday but brilliant blue skies today...is there more than one sky?! Not sure that we could see a DVD so don't send...just put them on your stream please. They always cause a big smile...good work! Wow...would be terrific if you all get to go skiing...hope the plans work out. Great scenery too. Hey, take a pic as you are going down slope...cool! Anyway, have a great day!
